Founding of K.C.A. of U.S.A.

The K.C.A. was founded by Vicky Park.

June 2013


President Jiwon Lee

President Lee announces her plan to expand the reach of K.C.A., hoping to establish 19 branches in major cities like Chicago and New York City. She aimed to have over 2000 beauty professional members. She additionally launched a scholarship support project for low-income Korean beauty professionals.

August 2016


Mucota Agreement

The K.C.A. signed an agreement with Mucota to offer its members a 30% discount on over 100 products, including perms and nutritional clinics.

November 2016


President Mariah Min

The K.C.A. provided free hair cuts for the elderly during a monthly community service hosted by the organization.

August 2017


President Byungdeok Cho

President Cho aims to build a healthy and beneficial association where members feel a sense of pride in their belonging, with his core objective being to work for the interests and advancement of stylists.

COVID-19 Relief

At the Koreatown Senior & Community Center, the K.C.A. continues to offer free hair cuts for the elderly and helps restore balance after the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, free legal consultations were offered by the Korean Community Lawyers Association during the same event.

President Scarlett Park

President Park has big visions of the future for the K.C.A. while she is the head of the organization. She plans to continue to help those in need and diversify the K.C.A. to connect cultural bridges and techniques in the beauty industry.
